| How Do I... Put up my Telescopic Windsock Pole? Spirit Of Air Telescopic Windsock Poles: To extend the pole to it's full length: Remove the small black rubber bung from the top of the pole. Slowly angle the pole downwards until the inner telescopic sections begin to slide out. Pull the thinnest telescopic section by the small metal ring on its tip. As each telescopic section is pulled out, the next section will follow. Gently pull each join tight and twist slightly to secure it.
Ground Spike: To use, push approx. 30cm of the ground spike into the ground using a rubber mallet if necessary (use more than one spike for very tall Telescopic Poles). Then remove the centre of the black cap on the bottom section of the Telescopic Windsock Pole and place the extended pole over the spike(s). The pole will be loose on the spike and will swivel to help stop flags and windsocks from tangling.
Flag Bungees: Push the loop of one bungee through one eyelet on the flag, loop it round the pole and then over the ball on the end of the bungee. Repeat with the second bungee.
Care Of Poles And Windsocks: Poles, flags and windsocks are for light outdoor use. They are not designed for high winds and harsh weather conditions, and poles should always be collapsed during (or before!) extreme winds or storms.

Windsock Swivels: It's important that the small metal parts on the windsock work freely. To extend their life (and prevent them from jamming) regularly apply a small amount of lubricating oil to the metal parts particularly to the swivels and ball bearings.
